It was soft and fresh. You could taste the red bean and not overpowered by the sweetness. Best mochi I had.

The Sentinel is located at 37 Montgomery in a small corner shop. Everything comes out from there is delicious. It is a little pricy for everyday lunch, but it is worth it. Love the charming takeout places SF has to offer.
